Graduation
Each year the PMF Program Office conducts a graduation ceremony
for Fellows who have been certified as successfully completing the
PMF Program by their agency's Executive Resources Board (ERB), or
equivalent. This event provides you an opportunity to
celebrate the success of completing the two-year program and the
continuation of a career in the Federal Government. It is an
excellent chance to reconnect with Fellows you met along the way,
to celebrate accomplishments, and to inspire future civil
service.
Graduation is typically held in Washington, DC in the
Spring. Attendance at the ceremony is encouraged, but is not
mandatory.
To attend the graduation, each Fellow must meet the following
criteria:
- Complete all requirements of the PMF Program
- Be certified by the appointing agency's Executive Resources
Board (ERB), or equivalent. This information must be entered
by the Agency PMF Coordinator into the Agency System for Automated
Processing (ASAP), found under the "Agencies/Resources" section on
the PMF website.
- Reimbursement appointment fee paid to the U.S. Office of
Personnel Management by the appointing agency (the graduating
Fellow's Agency PMF Coordinator can verify this).
Cost:
The PMF Graduation Ceremony is free to all Fellows and
guests. However, if travel is required, Fellows should contact
their Agency PMF Coordinator and Supervisor to arrange travel and
per diem to the event.
Guests:
Family, friends and colleagues, as well as former Fellows,
Agency PMF Coordinators and Supervisors, are invited to attend the
graduation ceremony. However, as space permits, priority will
be given to Fellows.
