Current Finalists
The PMF Program selects Finalists annually, during the
spring. Finalists are referred to their class of cohorts based
on time of application, which aligns with the Federal Government's
fiscal year. Finalists have up to one year upon selection as
Finalists to obtain an appointment as a PMF.
NOTE: Finalists for 2012 have until January 24th,
2013, to accept and start a PMF appointment.
The list of Finalists can be sorted by the
following:
Finalist
Name: Listing shows all
Finalists by class year, name (last, first, mi) in alphabetical
order, if favorably adjudicated in claiming veterans' preference
(indicated as "Yes"), graduate degree Finalist applied under, and
status ("A" for accepted an appointment/appointed or "W" for
withdrawn from further consideration).
Appointing
Agency: Listing shows all
Finalists by class year, name (last, first, mi) in alphabetical
order, under the agency/sub-agency appointed at, the Agency PMF
Coordinator associated to the agency/sub-agency, the expected Entry
on Duty (EOD) start date of the Finalist starting his/her
appointment as a PMF, and running totals by agency/sub-agency with
a grand total at the bottom.
Finalist
Status: This listing is similar
to the "Sorted by Name" list, but in alphabetical order by class
year and "Status" (first by those Finalists not appointed, then by
"A" for accepted an appointment/appointed, and then by "W" for
withdrawn from further consideration.
Nominating
College/University: This
listing is similar to the "Sorted by Agency" list, but the name of
college/university appears in place of agency/sub-agency in order
by school name and includes class year.
Sorted
with Resume (Agencies Use
Only; Login Required
): Upon login, the agency user is
provided the same options above, but showing the adjudicated
veterans' preference and upon selecting a Finalists' name will
automatically retrieve the latest on-line resume associated to the
Finalist in a separate browser window. The resume will appear as an
Adobe Acrobat PDF file and may take a few moments to generate.
Agency users are also able to search on-line resumes by the
following search criteria and may choose more than
option:
- Graduate Degree - Enables agency users
to search by any advanced degree the Finalist indicated during the
application period, up to two entries.
- Undergraduate Degree - Enables agency
users to search by any undergraduate degree the Finalist indicated
during the application period, up to two entries.
- Adjudicated Veterans' Preference -
Enables agency users to search by adjudicated veterans' preference
(e.g., TP, XP, CP, and CPS).
- Indian Preference - For agencies
permitted to apply such preference, enables agency users to search
by Finalists who claimed Indian Preference during the application
process and provided a completed BIA Form 4432, which the PMF
Program Office retains on file until requested by appropriate
agencies requiring Indian Preference.
- Citizenship - Enables agency users
to search Finalists with or without U.S. Citizenship. NOTE:
Non-U.S. Citizen Finalists may be eligible for PMF
appointment. See the PMF Guide for Agencies in
the Resources
section for additional information.
- Foreign Languages - Enables agency
users to search foreign languages. Students could only select from
a limited number of languages, up to 3 languages, during the
application process. If the foreign language was not listed, the
student was instructed to choose "Other" and identify in their
resume. Use "Other" if the specific language desired is
not reflected in the list.
- Geographic Employment Preference
- Enables agency users to search for Finalists who indicated a
geographic employment preference. Finalists were able to choose
multiple locations during the application process.
- Professional Skills/Competencies
- Enables agency users to search for Finalists who selected up
to 30 professional skills and/or competencies during the
application process. Students were informed their choices should be
defendable in their resume.
NOTE: If a current Finalist notices an error in
status, graduate degree, and/or appointment, he/she should
contact the PMF
Program Office. The same applies if an agency user notices an
error. If an agency user notices an error with the Finalists'
on-line resume, please contact the Finalist directly. Contact the
PMF Program Office for illegible resumes (e.g., missing, streaks,
wrong document, etc.). Resumes that appear upside down cannot
be re-oriented by the PMF Program Office; this occurs when a
Finalist faxed a resume incorrectly and the automated fax
server enters it as it was received.
